05 march 2011 - milnerton lagoon

...back to blogs

We decided to head down to Milnerton Lagoon early this morning to do a bit of photography. Most of the commoner waterbirds were encountered with nothing out of the ordinary really. We did have a reasonable procession of birds flying up and down the waterway passed us which at least gave some reasonable photographic opportunities.

Swift Tern
African Darter
juvenile Reed Cormorant
Hartlaub's Gull
Little Egret
Egyptian Goose
